In 10 days I will go from layering to keep warm to swim suit, sunscreen and a reclining chair.  It's a tough job but somebody has to do it.
In the meantime we have 1 and 1/2 days left of work and then the weekend so I best get ready for work.  Have a great day no matter what you are doing.

2011 Christmas

This is our make shift Christmas tree in Tampa!  Isn't it great?
We had the best time.  There were actually 8 adults and 4 dogs in a 3 bedroom apt.  Everyone got along well.  Well except for the few times I got on GRB's nerves (but isn't that a mom's job?).

From what I hear if you havcn't seen the movie "Elf" this is a scene right out of the movie.  "Santa's coming!!!!!!

The four amigos opening a treasure.  The excitement on their faces tells the whole story (yes, they just woke up).  Love these guys.

Don't these two look like they ought to be on a cruise ship sailing off somewhere warm!!

More fun people.  I don't know if you realize it or not but this is the room of an artist.  Can you guess which one he is?

Everybody's favorite time - FAMILY PHOTOS!!!

and extended family

I am so proud of each of these young men....they are really making things happen in their lives.

Here is a momma this is so happy to be with her boy for Christmas that she cannot wipe that grin off her face!  And who would want to.

This one is lovin' life...

as are these two brothers.  These 2 and the one above have been best friends all of their lives. They are all roommates  and figuring out life together.

Everyone was happy today.

Did I mention everyone was happy.   Jesus is not the only birthday celebration we had on Christmas.  Jake turns 21 next week and even though we are not allowed to be around for the big event we wanted to send him birthday wishes.  HAPPY BIRTHDAY JAKE!!!!
May it be your best one yet.  We love you, man

Family Christmas 2011

We went home for a special birthday celebration and were surprised with 2 of my brothers coming in town at the same time.  This is one of our favorite family members.  Lucy doesn't know she is of the canine family.  We won't tell her any different.

My Aunt Gerry and 2 of my brothers:  Precious and Ricky...or so that is what Roy was referred to for the evening.  He was all about being the favorite and snubbing Ricky.  Susan and Ann dogged
Roy all night.  It is so good to laugh and laughing with family is the best.

Aunt Gerry and Ricky - she was having trouble deciding who was the bad one and who was the good one!

I see a Christmas card for next year!!!
Now that is a beautiful picture!  Merry Christmas everybody.  We love you.

Another Kodak moment!
HO HO HO
More of my favorite people.  Love you
You guessed it....Aunt Gerry and Precious (AGAIN)

I am not sure why Karen is not singing.  Really I am not sure why Mike and Roy are?
I don't remember any singing.....oh maybe something about a partridge and a pear tree.

Wee -dee-dee-dee, dee-dee -dee-dee-dee duh wee dum bum bah way
Wee -dee-dee-dee, dee-dee -dee-dee-dee duh wee dum bum bah way
In the village the peaceful village the lion sleeps tonight

Let the birthday celebration begin!

Get out of what .........ticket?

What a great 24 hours!
Happy Birthday Mike!
We wish you many many more to come.

Christmas Treasures II

Well here is more of the beautiful gifts I received a Sunday's luncheon.  Karen has such a gift for making center pieces.  I love it when she makes them for me!!!
Then she gave me a sachi thermol bag that was filled with goodies and a
box of chocolates.  Can you say spoiled?
Jaunice made each of us this great apron that fits inside of a coffee mug!  It has little pockets to store pens, pencils, paint brushes so they are right at your fingertips.  Just the thing for a crafter to have.  Thank you Jaunice.
Marv made up these great gift bags with treats including the cupcake die you see next to the bag.  On the back of the cupcake is a gift certificate for each of the ladies from CTMH <VBG>.  And she gave me a jar of buttons and these cute litte canisters for storage.  Oh I love containers!!  Thank you Marv!

Lisa gave us each a beautiful crochet scarf and pin.  Perfect for these cold days.  Thank you Lisa.

Debra gave us each quite the bounty of goodies along with .....
this beautiful charger.  The letters are vinyl and cut out on her Cricut!  What a great idea.  Thanks Debra.
Becky made these cute little reindeer filled with sweet treats and a santa ornament.  Both very fun for the holidays.  Thank you Becky.
Beth gave us each a stocking with our name stickled on it.  And this great mini tag scrapbook.  Inside is a picture of our group's last year picture, place for another picture and a gift card!  Very cute.  Also a little cute santa ornament and a wooden rubber stamp with Santa .  thank you Beth.

And Karen beaded each of us a beautiful Christmas ornament!
Kathy has been a busy little elf baking treats to fill this little cottage box!  Kathy everything is delicious.  Thank you.
Maureen has also been busy baking!  Yum.  All these delicious treats makes it hard to resist!  Oh well.  Thanks you Maureen.
Janice made baked treats also.  Robert says Thank you ladies for all the sweets.  He thinks they are all for him!
Deb C gave us these coolly decorated jars.  Some were filled with chewy peppermints and other with what looked like red jaw breakers or gum balls.  Lots of red/white and glitter!  Love it.  Thanks Deb C.

Love this next gift so much.  Marv had my name for Christmas and this is part of what she gave me!

Not sure if I have told any of you but "I GOT A CRICUT" for Christmas from all of my ladies.  I knew I would own one, one day.  But I knew it would not be any time soon.  Robert just went back to work and things are still really tight.  The ladies I think figure all that out and decided to bless me!  And bless me they did.  I can't tell you how much I appreciate each of you.  Not just for the Cricut but for having each of you as a dear friend.  Thank you from the bottom of my heart.  And thank you for making my Christmas so special.
