Organization 101

You may or may not know that we have our home for sale and we are working on downsizing.  What does that mean in a crafters world?  It means really small spaces to keep your supplies in.  And utilizing every nook and cranny.
A friend of mine (Beth B) came up with a great idea for storing small accessories but keeping them right at your fingertips.  Thanks Beth!! So I want to share this with you.

The round containers have a magnetic back and come in a 2 pack from Michaels.  Bought a pack of  magnets, also from Michaels.  The magnets are the size of a business card.  Peel and stick magnets on the side of the ink organizer and then stick the round containers with buttons, brads, eyelet, etc to the magnet on the organizer.  I love this idea!!
Tell me what you think about space saving idea.  And share any ideas you have come up with.  I would love to learn more.  Thanks for visiting for a while.  Come back often.

The Everything ABC's Blog Hop

Welcome to the Everything ABC's Blog Hop! For this hop we will be featuring the letter S. This may be the name of a paper, a stamp set or an embellishment. If you came from Anita Autore's blog then you're on the right track! This card is made using our new Pathfinding paper pack (X7186B) with all the feel of Autumn. The base is 6" x 6" with a 3"x 6 "piece of goldrush cardstock and .25 x 5' piece of olive cardstock. I popped up a 2.25" x 3.5" piece of background and texture paper from the Pathfinding paper pack. Flowers are from Lifetime of Happiness (C1589) and "With Sympathy" is from Sincere Expressions (A1146). Very simplistic yet cute card to send just the right message.
