Club in October

Salt Palace entranceSALT LAKE CITY, UT  I have been given the opportunity to travel to Salt Lake for a Close to My Heart Weekend!!!  It has been several years since I have been to Utah.  I do love it there and am looking forward to it.
I'll be leaving Thursday and returning on Sunday. So with that in mind, it is necessary to move our club meeting back one week.  We will meet on Saturday October 26, at our regular times.  Hope to see you there.

We will draw for our Secret Pal Christmas names at club this month!  That is always a fun to see who's name each will have and start planning their gift.  We also need to discuss where we will be doing our Christmas luncheon so bring your ideas.

Our next crop is November 16, 2013 from 8 - 3 at Lynn Haven United Methodist Church.  Mark your calendars now so as not to have a conflict with crafting day.   I am looking for volunteers to teach  make - n - takes.  Our very own Jeanie Connell with 31 will be on hand to share what is new with 31.

Is anyone interested in having a Christmas Card making weekend in November?  I would be happy to have it in the meeting room at the condo.  We could order order out and just craft away.  If the rental condo is available I might be able to rent it for 6 persons who may not want to drive back and forth.  We could start Friday night and work off and on until Sunday morning.  Let me know if you are interested.  The condo would be first come but I need to check availability first.  We could have this November 1st till 3rd or Nov 22nd till 24th.

Hope that you each have a great weekend and enjoy this beautiful weather we have been having.  See you next Saturday the 26th.

Nancy

The Everything ABC's Blog Hop

Welcome to the Everything ABC's Blog Hop! For this hop we will be featuring the letter S. This may be the name of a paper, a stamp set or an embellishment. If you came from Anita Autore's blog then you're on the right track! This card is made using our new Pathfinding paper pack (X7186B) with all the feel of Autumn. The base is 6" x 6" with a 3"x 6 "piece of goldrush cardstock and .25 x 5' piece of olive cardstock. I popped up a 2.25" x 3.5" piece of background and texture paper from the Pathfinding paper pack. Flowers are from Lifetime of Happiness (C1589) and "With Sympathy" is from Sincere Expressions (A1146). Very simplistic yet cute card to send just the right message.
