Well we are here at Coronado Springs in Disneyland! We have gotten the Autumn Winter Idea book and boy is it exciting to see all that is new with CTMH.  There is always so many new things shared at General Session which is first thing every morning.  Then we go to lunch then to the next session and so on.  By the time we return to our room in the evening we are on overload and it is hard to find a good place to start.  But the idea book is a great thing to show you. The next exciting news is this! With oodles of images in each of 15 layout themes, you can create several coordinating pages for each theme using just two keys and one dial size.  More info later. Well you can do this with the new cartridge! But more later about that... Some of my favorite peeps with Close to My Heart:   Cindy (left) is my fabulous upline and Denise is my sideline.  This was at the awards banquet.  Everyone puts on their prettiest and comes together for dinner, awards and entertainment which was the Texas Tenors.  If you have never heard of the Texas Tenor I suggest you google them.  They were EXCELLENT.  The whole evening was great. Debbie (left) and I shared a room and Nancy has been our roommate other years.  We are die hard CTMH peeps.  And we love going to convention....every year we say "It can't possibly be any better next year" and every year Jeanette Lynton (Founder and CEO of Close to My Heart) and her staff manage to WOO us with a better convention.   How is that possible?!  We don't know but we look forward to it.      The new paper packets are beautiful!!!  The colors are gorgeous and very trendy.  With many new embellishments to accessorize with.      There are 62 great new stamp sets.  40% of these new sets  coordinate with the Cricut!!!  15 of the new sets coordinate with the NEW Cricut Artiste Collection and 10 of them coordinate with the Cricut Art Philosophy Cartridge.       Did I mention that my order has already shipped and will be delivered before next Saturdays club! Another exciting new item in the CTMH idea book is the Workshops on the Go Kits!! There are 13 new ones.......Yes 13 but the fun part is that they are not all the same as before......you will have to stay tune for more information on those at Club next Saturday!!!

I kinda forgot to post on Saturday of Convention! My apologies. As you can imagine, convention is so busy and so exciting and well you kind of get lost in all the activity.' To continue Saturday we had classes in the morning and a guest speaker from Disney. Then in the afternoon we had general session. With a Q&A with Jeanette Lynton, CEO and founder of CTMH. Then we played games for prizes and right after that there was a crop that lasted several hours. Convention was great! I have so much to share with you all. See you on Saturday

I had forgotten that Southern CA has the best weather of anywhere I have ever lived. It has been in the 70's since I arrived. A little cool in the morning and evening but wonderful! Convention has been so exciting! Jeanette never let's us down when it comes to surprises with the new idea book and new products! And she always has the crafter's best interest at heart. Yesterday we got the new idea books!!!! Amazing! Print has been enlarged, and stamps are at 100% WooHoo! After lunch we attended Extravaganza, where we learned about the new products and neat ways to use them. Then we had the night off. We don't usually have much time off. It was quite nice to go out to dinner, relax and read the new idea book. Today we have a keynote speaker from Disney and then make n takes in the afternoon. Should be another great day. My roomie is still asleep so I am typing in the dark. Of course I am on central time and it's 2 hrs earlier here. It's alr...

Only 5 days until convention starts!!! I know most of you are as excited as I am to get a peek at the new idea book and all that will be new with Close to My Heart.
