Last night we learned the basics of stamping.  How to handle stamps. The proper way to clean  your stamps and blocks.And a variety of stamping techniques.  It was quite fun!  Here is what I came up with using several of the techiques shown.  This image is from the Love Blooms set (c1511) stamped with Juniper(z2165) and sunset (z2191) inks.  The popped up flower is embossed white (z673) the sponged w/ sunset ink.  Embellishment flower is from the Autumn Lane asssortment (z1749) with Slate satin polka-dot ribbon (z1802).  Paper is Flirty paper pack (x7160b). All products are exclusive Close to My Heart products. Last week at club we make these darling 3 x 3 cards using CTMH pigment pads.  The pigment ink pads are new in the Autumn Winter Idea book.  We learned about the difference in dye-based ink, pigment-based ink and solvent-based ink.  The paper pack is from the Dotty for You B & T Duo Collection.  Colors were Lagoon, Smoothie, Sunset, Sweet Leaf, Creme Brulee and Grey Wool Thanks for visiting.  Nan

You may or may not know that we have our home for sale and we are working on downsizing.  What does that mean in a crafters world?  It means really small spaces to keep your supplies in.  And utilizing every nook and cranny.  A friend of mine (Beth B) came up with a great idea for storing small accessories but keeping them right at your fingertips.  Thanks Beth!! So I want to share this with you. The round containers have a magnetic back and come in a 2 pack from Michaels.  Bought a pack of  magnets, also from Michaels.  The magnets are the size of a business card.  Peel and stick magnets on the side of the ink organizer and then stick the round containers with buttons, brads, eyelet, etc to the magnet on the organizer.  I love this idea!!
