Operation Smiles Quarterly Crop

With the rainy weather all weekend, it was a perfect time for our crop!  Well to be honest any time is perfect to crop, but whatever.  We had a great time and everyone got a lot done!  We mixed things up this time and played some fun games.  One make n take was teaching us how to make this magnolias:


And the other was decorating homemade fabric bookmarkers.  Both are great to give as gifts or keep for your own use.

June crop started a new year for making donations for Operation Smiles.  We got off to a good start!
Thank you to all who participated in our crop.  We are here to help one another and you ladies always do just that. Thank you for giving to the children to give them a perfect smile!!!

How To..

Make this book you need 2 - 2 inch book rings, poster board, tabs, titles, inks, stamps, and ribbon. Cut front and back from poster board 6x6. Cover and decorate with your favorite papers. Cut out 10 Tabs of coordinating CTMH cardstock colors and lots of fun ribbon to dress up those rings. Let me hear from you if you have any questions. Thanks for stopping by.

What's going on in my creative space.....

Circle Pocket Card We made this cute card today at our monthly hostess club meeting.   I used the Sugar Rush paper pack .  Here are the instructions: Cut a 7.5 inch circle from Daisy White cardstock.  Score at 1 3/4 and 5 7/8 Turn circle one quarter turn and score at 2 1/4 You will have 2 short score lines - cut in on these score lines Add a thin line of liquid glass or glue at the bottom of the 2 long side flaps - sealing the bottom for your first pocket. Add a thin line of liquid glass or glue along the inside of the fold lines on the bottom flap and fold to form 2nd pocket.  Add a thin line of liquid glass or glue to the bottom of both of the little flap and fold forward to create the 3rd pocket.  Inserts for each pocket: I used Background and texture paper for the base and then white cardstock for the top layer of each insert.
